SexDollPrices was started by SDP Creator, a former store administrator who spent more than four years running a major US doll retailer from the inside.

Why comparing doll prices is so hard

Working inside an online doll store showed me how most retailers in this industry operate, and how difficult it is for customers to compare what a doll really costs.

The price of the doll itself is almost the same everywhere. Nearly every retailer competes on price, so most of them list dolls at the lowest price the manufacturer allows its resellers. The profit is made back on the options. It works like a grocery store: some options are discounted or even free, while others cost much more, sometimes double the price or more compared to another store.

Configuring a custom doll in any store takes 10 to 30 minutes, especially if you have not done it before. Comparing the same setup across several stores can easily take hours. Every store names its options differently, lists them in a different order, and some options stay hidden until you first select another option. Just finding the option you want can take minutes, even tens of minutes.

Add the fact that most manufacturers offer hundreds of models, and a thorough comparison becomes almost impossible.

That is why I built SexDollPrices. Instead of configuring the same doll again in every store, you configure it once and immediately see what that exact setup costs at each retailer.

It saves you hours of clicking, helps you find the doll you want much faster, and introduces you to retailers you may never have heard of.

How we compare prices

We collect prices from retailers' product data and keep them up to date daily. Option prices are checked regularly for each manufacturer and retailer. Before you are sent to a store, the price of your configuration is confirmed, but the retailer's checkout is always the final word.

How the site is funded

The retailers we compare are our affiliate partners. If you buy through our links, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Retailers cannot pay for a better position: results are always sorted by price, cheapest first. Read our affiliate disclosure for details.
